SERIOUS INJURY TO THE EYE AND LOSS OF VISION MAY RESULT FROM PROBLEMS WITH CONTACT LENSES AND LENS CARE SOLUTIONS.

Eye problems, including corneal ulcers and infections can develop rapidly.  Immediately remove your lenses and call or visit your eye care professional if you experience any adverse reactions such as:  eye discomfort, excessive tearing, vision changes, pain, unusual eye discharge, sensitivity to light or redness  of the eye.

Periodic eye examinations by your eye care professional are important.  Always follow your eye care professional’s directions and all labeling instructions for the proper us and care of your lenses.

Lenses should never be placed directly in the eye after cleaning.  Lenses must be thoroughly rinsed and disinfected after each cleaning procedure.

PRECAUTIONS:

  • Keep the bottle tightly closed when not in use.
  • Before handling lenses, wash hands thoroughly.  Optisoap is recommended.
  • Use before the expiration date marked on the carton and bottle.
  • Store at room temperature (60-80 F.)  Avoid excessive heat or cold.
  • NEVER SOAK ANY TYPE OF CONTACT LENS IN MIRAFLOW EXTRA STRENGTH DAILY CLEANER.

ADVERSE REACTIONS (PROBLEMS AND WHAT TO DO):

The following problems may occur:

  • Eyes sting, burn or itch
  • Excessive watering (tearing) or eyes
  • Unusual discharge (eye secretions)
  • Redness of the eyes
  • Reduced sharpness of vision (Visual acuity)
  • Blurred vision
  • Sensitivity to light (photophobia)

If you notice any of the above problems immediately remove your lenses and examine them.  If the problem stops and the lenses appear undamaged, clean, rinse, disinfect and re-insert them.

If the problem continues or the lenses appear to be damaged, immediately remove the lenses and consult your eye care professional.

If any of the above problems occur, a serious condition such as infections, corneal ulcer, neovascularization or iritis may be present.  Seek immediate professional identification of the problem and prompt treatment to avoid serious eye damage.

If you inadvertently place the cleaner in your eye, remove your lens immediately and rinse your eye with sterile saline or eye-wash solution.  Consult your eye care professional.

DIRECTIONS:  Always wash your hands before handling your lenses.  Dry with a lint-free towel. Clean and disinfect your lenses each time you remove them from your eyes.
